The intended age range for this service is early learners aged four to seven years old.

Audience

The primary audience is pupils in pre-school or early primary school.

Licensing Income

Jellybooks pays publishers a licence fee for each credit redeemed by teachers. A credit is valid for one book and expires at the end of the school term.

Licensing income is paid out to publishers three times per year, thirty days after the end of a school term.

Marketing

The service is marketed by Jellybooks directly to schools and teachers as well as in partnership with leading literacy charities.

Technical Integration

The service primarily supports children’s books in fixed layout (FXL) ePub format, the same format used by Apple and other ebook vendors.

Please see our DISCOVERY section for how to submit assets to Jellybooks. Publishers who are already DISCOVERY users do not need to resubmit their assets.

A dedicated/supplementary licensing agreement is required to participate in Book Pass.
